The Journal of Islamic Studies - Kabul University (JIS) is an internationally peer-reviewed quarterly scientific journal, available in electronic format only. The journal aims to enrich the research movement and develop serious academic research in the fields of Islamic sciences, such as theology, interpretation, hadith, jurisprudence, da'wah, Islamic culture, and any science related to Islamic sources. This journal provides a significant opportunity for researchers to publish their scientific outputs and gain new experiences in the field of research. It also hopes to serve as the scientific voice of the university in various religious and scholarly fields.
The Journal of Islamic Studies, Kabul University (JIS) does not charge any fees for manuscript submission, processing, peer review, publication, or online access.
Authors are not required to pay any Article Processing Charges (APCs) or publication fees at any stage of the editorial or publishing process. All articles published in JIS are made freely available to readers in accordance with the journal’s open-access policy.
