The Journal of Islamic Studies - Kabul University (JIS) is an internationally peer-reviewed quarterly scientific journal, available in electronic format only. The journal aims to enrich the research movement and develop serious academic research in the fields of Islamic sciences, such as theology, interpretation, hadith, jurisprudence, da'wah, Islamic culture, and any science related to Islamic sources. This journal provides a significant opportunity for researchers to publish their scientific outputs and gain new experiences in the field of research. It also hopes to serve as the scientific voice of the university in various religious and scholarly fields.

Journal of Islamic Studies – Kabul University (JIS)

The Department of Academic Journals of Kabul University invites researchers and scholars to submit their academic articles for publication in the Journal of Islamic Studies – Kabul University. Submissions are welcomed in Arabic for the third issue of the year 1403 AH, corresponding to 1446 AH.

All submitted articles will undergo a rigorous review process based on the guidelines established by the Department of Academic Journals avilible on our website (https://jis.eduaf), ensuring the highest standards of scholarly quality and scientific accuracy.

Volume 2, Issue1, Year 1447 AH / 1404 SH (2025 CE)

Journal of Islamic Studies – Kabul University (JIS) is pleased to announce the call for scholarly submissions for its Volume 2 Issue 1 1447 AH (1404 SH / 2025 CE). Researchers and scholars are invited to submit original, unpublished research papers and academic articles in Arabic for consideration.

Submissions must present original contributions to the field of Islamic studies and address contemporary, relevant, and innovative topics. Articles must not have been previously published or submitted to any other journal.

All submissions will undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process, in accordance with the academic and ethical standards set by the Journals Directorate.
